Here, in honored memory and in appreciation for their sacrifice, are inscribed the names of those law enforcement officers of the United States Postal Inspection Service who gave their lives in the line of duty enforcing the laws of the United States, protecting both postal employees and the integrity of the U.S. Mails. May they rest in peace and may they never be forgotten.
