Media Advisory: “John Lennon: The Lost Album” open house

WHEN: Sunday, Oct. 9, from 1 to 3 p.m.

WHO: Beatlemania Now tribute band

To celebrate the opening of “John Lennon: The Lost Album” as well as National Stamp Collecting Month, the National Postal Museum will hold an open house from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 9—the 65th anniversary of Lennon’s birth. Beatlemania Now, a Beatles tribute band, will perform throughout the event. In addition, the museum will give away stamp-collecting starter kits containing a paperback stamp album for beginners, stamps from around the world—including stamps featuring Lennon—and an informational booklet about stamps. The event is free and open to the public.
