History of EnvyPak
EnvyPak was a vision conceived by a desperate need to have a better technology for manufacturing clear plastic pages, pockets and envelopes while providing the best looking products in the marketplace.
Research started in 1998 at Univenture, Inc. a Company that had spent the last 10 years using traditional technologies to manufacture plastic film converted products. The requirements and demands put on the new products were simple:
- The product must lay flat, look, feel and structurally be the best in the marketplace
- Print quality must provide high-quality graphics at competitive pricing
- Plastic must be archival based, for protection of the contents
- Product must meet or exceed the diverse needs and expectations of customers
EnvyPak launched in 2003 after 5 years and several million dollars of technological research and development by a team of specialists. EnvyPak has created a vast number of stock and custom products for the direct mail industry, home, school/office marketplace and the associated distribution channels. Whether branded under its own name or private labeled, EnvyPak offers a range of US-made products for an ever-discerning customer base.
As an Envelope
Interactive print can transform any mail piece into a conversation piece. Truly clever print artwork will compel recipients to eagerly open their mail the moment they see it. Printed EnvyPaks create a unique custom look, used by major luxury car brands, banks, retailers, pharma, cable and internet providers, cellular phone companies, investment services, high end real estate, and many other top brands.
EnvyPak Products with American-made materials have passed thorough testing to ensure compliance with the USPS requirements. All testing has been done independently by professional test facilities to nationally recognized ASTM standards as outlined by the USPS. Further, the test results show that the EnvyPak products meet all Domestic Mail Manual (DMM) standards for automation postage rates on their AFSM 100 postal flat sorting equipment and subsequently, their FSS sequencing equipment. The materials made expressly for EnvyPak mailers are listed on the USPS RIBBS website for customers to reference which indicates that only the poly materials listed on this site can be used for flat-size mail pieces.
Our products are specifically designed to be either manually or machine inserted and are regularly used on automatic insertion equipment at leading mail houses. Machines include: Pitney Bowes, Flowmaster, Bell & Howell, Master Mailer, as well as custom made machines.
The results have been outstanding for brands focused on high-value products marketed with direct mail. The unique clear envelopes prove a platform for customer interaction that delivers the highest open and response rates. The initial technical requirement for the product to “lay flat” has facilitated the automated assembly in mail and print houses nationwide, allowing the efficient processing of millions of clear envelopes.
