I just look at those people that come in and complain and say you all haven’t seen anything. You all have it a lot easier than when we first started. I used to have to unload trucks and the people on the dock that unload trucks don’t have to do that. They don’t have to pull bags. You have a lot of mechanisms. When I started in Philadelphia, PA, I had to learn the city scheme. I had to learn 1000 cards, I threw 100 and I was only allowed to get 5 wrong. The whole city of Philadelphia, we had city a, b, c, and d, so each scheme was 1000 cards. I had to learn 4000 streets and addresses, the whole city of Philadelphia. I was a full city scheme, I had to learn all of those cards, and not only that, I had to learn the city scheme and I had to learn the unit scheme. I was in one section of the city, so one year I would throw the a scheme, next year I’d throw the unit scheme, next year city b scheme, next year the unit scheme and it would rotate. If you would get a scheme, it all depends on what job you had. The scheme was required and you had to do that on the Post Office time. Back then when I started I had to do that on my time. It’s not as large as it was back then.
