Good Paying Position
Why I Joined
I entered the Post Office mostly because it was a good paying position. There was more money if I got into the Postal Service. I became a Shop Steward in the first year. About six or seven years later they made me Craft Director. I retired in December of 2004. I had 25 years of Post Office Time, 4 years of military time and one year of sick leave so I retired right away. I still stay involved with the union; still stay a full dues paying member. I stay active with all of the union meetings.
