Activity:
Have students design a stamp that they would want to send to CSAC and ask them to write a letter explaining why the chosen historical figure with disability should be considered. Stamp Templates can be downloaded from the Materials section of “Design It!” curriculum.
Use Lesson 2 “Selecting a Subject” of Design It!: Student Stamps for America curriculum to expand the topic of CSAC. It includes supplemental information for teachers and handouts for students.
