"Seeing For Me" was released in 1979. Included in the list of disabilities is vision loss. People who are blind often use guide dogs to navigate their surroundings.

Invite students to discuss what disability means. The teacher can have a board with the word disability and have students create a card with a word or an image that reflects the meaning of disability. Encourage students to use respectful words and images. With tape backing, stick the cards to the board and encourage students to reflect on what they’ve said.
