Kimbereley Miners Kntting, 1948. Photographic image a two men sitting side by side on a bench knitting. The following is found in Stuart's notes relating to this image: "Many of the miners like to knit colorful sweaters and caps for themselves when off duty. The one man is still wearing his underground helmet, which protects his head from falling stone, when underground." Original caption by Constance Stuart Larrabee.
