3-cent Vermont Statehood 150th Anniversary single

On March 4, 1941, a light violet 3-cent stamp was issued to mark the 150th anniversary of Vermont statehood. The central design shows the State Capitol at Montpelier. Vermont was the 14th state admitted to the Union, having maintained its independence for a brief period following the Revolutionary War.
