$12.50 multicolor Lesser Scaup single

Like the 10-dollar denomination, the 12.50-dollar value was issued for only two years, 1989 and 1990. The 1989 duck stamp depicted two Lesser Scaup ducks, and the 1990 design featured two Black-Bellied Whistling Ducks. The 1990 duck stamp was the first win by a member of the Hautman family: Jim Hautman. The 12.50-dollar denomination stamps were printed with the same new process as the 10-dollar denomination stamps, the intaglio D press. There were 2,824,255 stamps of the 12.50-dollar denomination sold, raising $35,303,188.
