Neopost USA introduction video

[music]

Vincent J. DeAngelis:

So the mailing industry is important to the United States because it's what binds the country together.

Whether it's small to medium sized businesses that are looking to grow their business or whether it's communicating with our troops, the US Postal Service and the mailing industry is what binds us together to do that.

Kevin O’Connor:

Neopost USA is best known in the mailing industry for its high quality mailing, shipping, document management, and output management solutions.

Christopher M. O’Brien:

Neopost USA is very well known for helping customers handle their delivery of critical packages and documents in the most secure way possible.

Patricia Coughlin:

The first thing I learned about the mailing industry when I joined Neopost USA was that I had not realized how secure you have to keep the postage meters and, all of the postal regulations around the control, because it is after all money.

Chip Griffin:

When I first came to work at Neopost USA we had a meter that used a handle to crank an indicia onto an envelope.

The dollar wheel on it only went to a dollar. In today's world we can apply hundreds of dollars to it and we can print anything from logos, to slogans, to almost anything.

Kevin O’Connor:

The most profound change that I've seen in the mailing industry in my career is really the evolution or integration of digital solutions within physical mailing and shipping operations.

Chip Griffin:

It was all paper movement in the beginning and now there's many, many forms of communication that the mailing industry is involved in.

Patricia Coughlin:

When I first started the postage meters themselves were heavy, metal, hand cranked machines that you had to pack up, bring to the post office to get your money put in there.

Today the machines do it themselves.

You just push a button and they connect over the Internet.

Kevin O’Connor:

The postal industry will morph as consumers of the posts industry demand faster delivery times and more accurate information about their mailing and shipping solutions.

Chip Griffin:

There'll be more digital communication as opposed to paper movement and delivery will always be there.

Vincent J. DeAngelis:

The postal industry is morphing from one that was concentrating on letters and flats that now is more targeted towards packages.

The most common misconception I hear about the mailing industry is that the host of this industry, the US Postal Service, is subsidized by taxpayer money.

It is not.

It is actually paid for by people that use the postal service to grow their business, to ship their packages, to communicate with their families.

Christopher M. O’Brien:

Well the most common misconception about the mailing industry, especially if you talk

to our younger generation, is that the

USPS is going to close its doors.

And what you've seen over the last few years is

that is a very strong myth.

It will be around for a long, long time.
