Norman Rockwell was the perfect choice to illustrate a 1960 stamp celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America. He was an editor for Boys’ Life magazine as early as 1913, and for decades he illustrated nearly every official Boy Scouts calendar.
