The next four items from the museum’s collections remind us of the power of objects to tie us to our history. Two objects are physical reminders of notable Americans, President Franklin D. Roosevelt, and famed pilot Amelia Earhart. The other two items are remnants of tragic historical events, the 1912 sinking of the RMS Titanic, and the December 7, 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor
