Before joining the National Postal Museum, I had a long career in the U.S. Postal Service. During my 30 years there, I was involved in hundreds of different projects. When I think about the millions of items in the museum's collection, I will admit to having a special fondness for items that I had a hand in creating.
I would like to share my thoughts on four of these items, which include three stamps, with very different production stories, and a boxy postal vehicle that many will recognize as the truck their carrier uses on his or her daily rounds.
