2019 Programming and Education

Special programming will begin in 2019 and continue through 2022. Baseball: America’s Home Run will offer a suite of public programs that will attract large audiences for unique and special experiences surrounding the exhibitions and its content.

Inclusive programs will expand upon the bilingualism of Baseball: America’s Home Run, as well as celebrate the diversity of the Smithsonian community and the game itself.

Provisional 2020-2021 Programming and Education

Facilitator-led learning brings an exhibition to life in a way that creates deep learning and long-lasting memories. Baseball: America’s Home Run will present both daily programs and gallery experiences such as curated highlight tours, artifact spotlights, educational equipment carts, and curriculum-based programs for pre-k – 12 students. Additionally, the exhibition will offer a suite of public programs that will attract large audiences for unique and special experiences surrounding the exhibitions and its content. Provisional programming for 2020 – 2022 is currently in development.
