The National Postal Museum is pleased to announce its next gala to be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at the Museum in Washington, DC. Recipients of the 2023 Smithsonian Philatelic Achievement Awards will be honored at the black-tie event.

Smithsonian Philatelic Achievement Award

The 2023 Gala will recognize recipients of the Smithsonian Philatelic Achievement Award (SPAA), which honors and celebrates living individuals for outstanding lifetime achievement in the field of philately. This achievement may include original research that significantly advances the understanding of philately, exceptional service to the philatelic community or sustained promotion of philately to the benefit of current and future collectors.
