I really joined to make a difference, but I ran into folks that were in charge. Since I don’t bow down, people on the outside, when I go someplace, they think I’m a manager. Some people at work say, “You act like a manager.” I believe in helping people and I believe in doing what you are supposed to do. I believe in working with you so you can see the thing that you’re not doing, so you can keep your job. Young people need to know that when you take a job, it’s not like school, where if you don’t go to school, you don’t graduate; you don’t get your marks. Work is not like that. If you get fired from a job, sometimes it can cost you to never get a job again in life. You better have the intelligence to know that you need to handle your business. I love the Postal Service and I really do have the faith that somebody is going to come, and that change will come.
