Dean Ivan Lamb served as an airmail pilot for less than three months. He was born on January 25, 1886 in Cherry Flats, Pennsylvania. In 1912, he attended Curtiss flying school in Hammondsport, New York.
Lamb had a number of different jobs as a flyer including his three month stint as an airmail pilot. After leaving the service he made his way to Central America, where he helped to establish the Honduran Air Force.
