Program Description
Listen, Look & Do: Communication! is an exciting virtual program for preschool through kindergarten students that combines story time, object exploration, and a student-centered activity. Students will listen to and discuss a story that centers around themes of connecting and communicating with our loved ones through the mail (Listen). Then, they will explore different objects in the museum in order to make bigger connections between the story and the world around them, and especially to the Postal Service (Look). Finally, with the guidance of a museum educator students will collaboratively write a letter to a friend discussing what they’ve learned that will be shared digitally, so students have an opportunity to take a printed copy home.
