- Summary
- Calder, back to the camera, and an unidentified assistant weld pieces of metal. Photo taken in Caracas at Escuela Técnica Industrial of the UCV (Central University of Venezuela), where Calder had been invited by his friend the architect Carlos Raul Villanueva.
Identification of location, photographer, and date from email correspondence with Mendoza's son Claudio Mendoza. This picture is one of several taken by Mendoza during Calder's stay in Caracas. - Citation
