- Collection history unknown; formerly in the collection of Grove Chester Fiske (1869-1953, an antique dealer in Los Angeles, California, and Mexico); lent to MAI in 1920 by Stephen Van Rensselaer (1871-1945, a New York City antique dealer) acting as an agent for Mr. Fiske; purchased by MAI from Mr. Fiske through Stephen Van Rensselaer in 1921 using funds donated by MAI trustee James B. Ford (1844-1928).
