- Activity examining some of the Smithsonian's collection of 'objection and answer' banners that displayed arguments for and against women's suffrage. Discussion questions explore the banners and what they reveal about women's suffrage. Students rewrite pairs of banners then create their own banner. Part of the resource 'Winning the Vote for Women.' Targets grades 3-6.
