Abstract
This field book contains notes Ernst kept during field research in California and Oregon to collect plant specimens for the Dudley Herbarium of Stanford University between 7 August 1958 and 23 June 1959. Collection numbers range from 280-570. A second set of numbers that probably record mileage are occasionally included. Locations include Siskiyou County, Crater Lake, Santa Clara County, Hamilton Mountain, Del Puerto Canyon, and Monteray County in California, and Crater Lake . Other locations are also included.
