- Abstract
- This journal contains notes on snails, crab, and on observations, collections, photographs, and films of birds in Cuba and the Florida Keys from 25 May to 15 June 1924. Other specimens such as coral are also noted. Bartsch also notes visiting Carlos de Torre y Huerta. The journal portion of these field notes are typed and the list of bird specimens observed or collected is hand written. Notes on snails in the genus cerion that were collected are included. Bartsch visits several cerion colonies. Some snails are marked as new species. Localities include but are not limited to Cabañas fort, Mariel, Newfound Harbor Keys, Bush Key, Long Key, Bird Key, East Key, and Middle Key.
