- Abstract
- This item contains miscellaneous natural history and military notes and papers created or kept by Mearns. Many pages are undated, but dates range from approximately 1904 to 1907. Natural history notes include notes on birds (scientific name and sex),20 July 1905; mammals of Guam; data on crocodiles, 1907; and botanical notes in Sulu (currently Jolo Island), Agusan River, and other localities, March and April 1904. Other notes and papers include supply lists, expense lists, receipts, form and other papers for "Biographical Directory of Living Zoologists", typewritten list of names of military personnel that received orders, miscellaneous printed material, statement of service 1905,and statement of absences 1905 to 1906.
