- Abstract
- This field book consists of the field notes of Hernando Garcia Barriga from a collecting trips in Colombia, 1938. The notes include lists of expenses, observations of landscape and vegetation, description of travels and distances between locations, and a hand-drawn map of route taken. Some rough sketches are also included; one is possibly the layout of a ship. Collector numbers are included sporadically; an approximate range is 3589 to 3949. Localities include: Rio Meta, Puerto Lopez, and others. Entries are in Spanish.
