- Abstract
- This is a field journal by Joe T. Marshall, detailing his field work with birds from January 4 - December 31, 1959. Dated entries detail accounts of observing and collecting birds in areas of Arizona and Mexico. Information included are times, altitudes, weather conditions, terrain and forest descriptions, bird lists with species, and sketched maps of some localities. The pages are numbered 1-108. There are also some sketches of birds, marginal notes in pencil, and some pages extracted from the journal of a person named Gould.
