- Abstract
- The black-and-white photographs and contact sheet document field work on Baker Island, February 13 - 14, 1964. Images have captions in the reverse side listing location, date, description, and initials (possibly photographer). Subject matter shows vegetation (mimosa sp., burgrass, cynodon sp., foxtail grass, mimosa, lepturus, portulaca, and boerhaavia), participants (C. D. Hackman) at work, view of terrain toward lighthouse, terrain (beach, interior), island ruins, and boat departure.
