- A black-and-white photograph of an unidentified Tuskegee airman leaning against the tail of an airplane. The airman is wearing a military uniform with boots. The plane has a star painted along the side, as well as a number "31," and is parked on a pierced steel airstrip. There are no marks or inscriptions, front or back.
