- Description
- A black-and-white gelatin silver photograph of Terri Lyne Carrington holding a large cymbal in a cymbal storage space.
- An adolescent Terri Lyne Carrington, with her loose dark hair, is captured wearing a turtleneck shirt, knit jacket and trousers, stands beside a large and extensive cymbal storage rack. Within the photographic frame can be seen four rows and at least four columns worth of variously sized cymbals. In her proper left hand, she holds a very large cymbal which covers her entire arm and shoulder. A small cart on wheels is visible behind Carrington.
- On the white reverse of the photograph is an inscription in turquoise felt tip pen near the top, is: [Terri Carrington / Ebony 4-77 not used]. A blue ink stamp identifying the photographer, G. Marshall Wilson, is marked in the middle.
