- Description
- A black-and-white photograph of Kamoinge Workshop member, C. Daniel Dawson, captured by Anthony Barboza. The close-up portrait depicts Dawson from the chin up, looking directly at the viewer with a serious expression on his face. Dawson has a trimmed, full beard and mustache and is wearing a medium tone shirt. The proper left side of his face is in shadow.
- Beneath the image, in the bottom left corner is the title, year, and edition number handwritten in black ink: [Daniel C.[sic] Dawson 1972 1/5]. In the bottom right corner is photographer’s signature in black ink:[A. Barboza].
- The verso of the photograph has a handwritten inscription and the photographer’s signature written in black ink just above the center: [Kamoinge 1972 / 1st set of 5 / printed on Hahnemuhle / Feb. 2018 / Anthony Barboza].
