- Description (Brief)
- White leather ice skate with metal blade. This is a match to catalog number 1977.0183.04. According to the donor, Maxine Turquette the boots were purchased at Shuneman's department store in St. Paul, Minnesota in the fall of 1940. The skates were purchased at Kennedy Brothers Arms Company, a St. Paul's Sporting Goods store. The blades were mounted on the boots by an old man who had a small shop on West Kellogg Boulevard near Seven Points in St. Paul. The donor used these skates in the St. Paul area during the 1940s.
