Woman and Man Sitting on Porch
Object Details
- Description
- This picture shows a man and a woman sitting on a porch in the Rowher incarceration camp in Arkansas. On the back is written "Cath must eat good look who fat she is. With that looks I don't think she knows there's war going." Cath is the woman in the picture, the man sitting next to her might be Father Mori. The description is telling because it shows how Japanese Americans were trying to just live their normal life while incarcerated, and the Mori family was no exception.
