- This Bob Love basketball card is number 166 in a series of 264 that was manufactured by the Topps Company Inc. for the 1972-1973 National Basketball Association season. In the 264 card set the subset 161-170 were cards of the previous year's NBA All-Stars. The front of the card features an in-game action photo of the Chicago Bulls forward. The card’s reverse notes Love’s All-League honors as well as his statistics from the 1970-1971 and 1971-1972 All-Star games.
- Love played in the NBA from 1966-1977, playing for the Cincinnati Royals, Milwaukee Bucks, Chicago Bulls, New York Nets, and Seattle SuperSonics. Love became a star player during his time with the Bulls, being named to three All-Star games, three All-Defensive Second teams and two All-NBA Second teams between 1971 and 1975.
