- The 1973-1974 Topps basketball card set features a subset of cards (numbers 62-68) that highlighted the playoff series from the previous year. Card number 65 features a recap of the 1972-1973 National Basketball Association Western Conference Semi-Finals series between the Golden State Warriors and Milwaukee Bucks. The front of the card features an in-game action photo of Golden State Warriors center Nate Thurmond being defended by Milwaukee Bucks center Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and forward Bobby Dandridge. The card’s reverse has the dates and scores of the best-of-seven Western Conference Semi-Final series, which Golden State won in six games.
- The Milwaukee Bucks roster had four players who had been or were currently NBA All-Stars: Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Bobby Dandridge, Jon McGlocklin, and Oscar Robertson. The Golden State Warriors had six such players on their roster: Mahdi Abdul-Rahman, Rick Barry, Clyde Lee, Jeff Mullins, Cazzie Russell, and Nate Thurmond.
