Object Details
- Description (Brief)
- Red, white and blue arrow shaft with steel tips and Ann Clark's name on each one. These arrows were custom made for Ann Clark's professional archery demonstrations and later served as models for the U.S. Olympic team arrow. Clark began shooting in 1955 to accompany her husband on hunting trips. She enjoyed it so much that she entered and won the National Archery Association Championship. In 1957 she went on to become a member of the United States team and placed second at the World Chamionships in Prague. Clark continued winning championships, promoting the sport of archery and was elected into the Archery Hall of Fame in 1984.
