- Description (Brief)
- Experimental tipless carbon lamp, circa 1882. No base. Single-arch bamboo filaments, with carbon paste connectors, two-piece leads (?), two glass-bead insulator / lead-supports in each lamp. Pear-shaped envelopes. Bottom tipped design was used by Adams-Bagnall company. (See Electrical World). Lower glass bead insulator is the same size as the upper one, but otherwise this lamp has the same features as lamp #.01. Catalog number, paper label reading: "3/6/82".
