- L-1728 (Winterset Chert): Rare. Old roadcut overlies Bethany Formation.
- Winterset Chert is also known as Jackson County Flint, Zebra Stone, Winterset A, or Winterset C. It is gray mottled, gray and blue splotches, speckled light blue in color. Deposits include tabular.
- Geology remarks: Epoch- Pennsylvanian, Series- Upper Pennsylvanian, Stage - Missourian
