- Style: Braden B Raw Material 2: Busycon sinistrum Element: Complete. Alteration: Weathered Manufacturing Notes: Shallow incising. Design: Interlace pattern. Surface Modification: Incised Symbols: Detached heads, skulls, hair knot, beaded forelock, various eye decor, arrow points. Residue: Basket impression on right half covers 17 x 10 cm. Use Trace: Laid on basket. Comments: Projectile points shown attached to skulls' teeth. They are double barbed like Sallisaw, Ashley chocoville or a coarsely serrated Pocola. Warriors have varying hair styles, mouth designs. Skulls are interlaced, warrior heads are not. Eyes include dotted diamond, dotted diamond in oval, and dotted diamond in scalloped oval. Joan Gardner (conservator) notes no speech scrolls emanating from warrior mouths as suggested by drawing in Hamilton PL 121, B (The Spiro Mound. The Missouri Archaeologist. 1952. 14:1-276).
