The accession file states that " the bundle was "made for Johnny Archambault (Creek) [Mattie Johnnie Looney Archambault, Mrs. Frank Allen Archambault, Creek, 1907 - 1986] by her daughter JoAllyn Archambault (Sioux, Yanktonai), also the donor, in February, 1986. The bundle was made for Archambault's soul-release ceremony which was conducted by Art[hur] Amiotte, Oglalla Lakota, in August, 1986."
