- Cotton band woven with two running diamond bands with scattered diamonds in between. Warp is dark blue. Two tassels at each end. One on each end is tied with fiber. Tassel strings are navy beads anchored to a clear bead which is attached to the band with a short string of blue beads. Made by Kikwai. Dr. Newton says: Uncertain if this was made for use in the We?te festival, or when it was made. Obtained from Amnyekru a 29 y/o female. Made by Kikwui kikul, a 26 y/o female. Used. Both warp and weft are commercial cotton. Modifications: minimal pendants. Bead cordage is nylon fishing line and 2z tucum/caroa. Tassels are commercial cotton. Glass beads. No price. Associated specimens: field numbers 1984-20, 25, 35, 40, 42.
