- Notes
- Babassu frond headband, decorated with geometric designs in black and blue. The tail is a fiber string which ends in two feather tassels. Feathers are attached by fiber and 3 seeds. All feathers have tips cut off. The short upper feathers are red, green and blue. The other tassel is made of 2 short green and one long, red/blue macaw tail feather. Dr. Newton says maker unknown. Band: babassu flat frond, with black and blue painted markings. Tail: buriti cord with macaw and parrot feathers. Aku and cotton seed beads.
- Red-and-Green Macaw, Ara chloroptera (1 tail (red w/ distal blue)); Blue-crowned Parakeet, Aratinga acuticauda (1 tail (grn w/ distal blue)); Sun Parakeet, Aratinga solstitalis (3 tail (1grn, 2 grn/red)).
