- Owney received this promotional token from the Toledo, Ohio, produce exchange. The token notes that it would make Owney “our guest” on March 26, 1894. The exchange was located on the corner of Madison and St. Clair Streets in Toledo. Among the railway lines that could have brought Owney into town were the Wheeling & Lake Erie; the Columbus, Hocking Valley, & Toledo; the Lake Shore & Michigan Southern; and the Ann Arbor.
