Ogden House Owney tag
Object Details
- Description
- Owney received this hotel room key token from the Ogden Hotel of Council Bluffs, Iowa. The original Ogden Hotel had burned down in 1874 and was rebuilt a few years later. Like its predecessor, the second Ogden Hotel was considered the finest in the area for many years. No information is on the tag to indicate when it was presented to Owney, who visited that town at least three different times.
