- Description
- On its fourth flight over Switzerland in 1929, the LZ127 Graf zeppelin dropped this card over Basel, Switzerland, which borders both France and Germany. The German postage of 15 pfg for the international postcard rate was tied by the zeppelin's onboard postmark. The picture side of the postcard depicts Count Zeppelin. One hundred thirty-two items were dropped over Basel.
