Free Frank partial folded cover
Object Details
- Description
- Folded Free Frank cover (partial) addressed to President Andrew Jackson. Filing notation indicates this was from Governor Carroll of Tennessee during President Jackson's term. Bears a fading blue Nashville August 10 postmark. This is apparently a free frank from a constituent (who is also a governor) to the President as governors were not allowed to send free mail.
