- Description
- An unused, pre-printed letter sheet designed for use as Balloon Mail during the Siege of Paris. Examples of letter sheets actually carried by balloons during the Siege are uncommon. However, many unused examples of various format and color remained after the Armistice and were later sold as souvenirs.
