- The Little White House at Warm Springs, Georgia
- This stamp is the second in a series of four issued to commemorate the man who had led the nation through three terms as President beginning March 4, 1933.
- The Little White House, President Roosevelt's home in Warm Springs, Georgia -- and the site of his death on April 12, 1945 -- is depicted behind the portrait vignette. Roosevelt spent time in the therapeutic waters of the springs in his attempt to restore some use of his legs which were paralyzed by polio in August 1921.
