- Description
- This Harlan F. Stone Issue stamp features a portrait of Harlan Fiske Stone. He was appointed by President Calvin Coolidge to the position of Attorney General in 1924. He was responsible for the reorganization of the Department of Justice’s Bureau of Investigation, which later became the FBI. He also served as an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court and Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.
