- This Poultry Industry Centennial Issue stamp commemorates the centennial of the American Poultry Industry and the production of poultry and poultry products. The poultry industry is one of the most successful sectors in agriculture. The stamp depicts a Light Brahma rooster. The Brahma breed of chicken was the principal poultry meat of the United States from the 1950s until about 1930.
